PAK WATTAN School and College of Sciences Havelian was established in 2nd November, 2020, with the mission of providing quality education with the affordable expenses. PWSCS gives scholarships to the students every year, the scholarship is of different types like Pakians Scholarship, merit base, orphan, special child scholarship and Hafiz e Quran scholarships. The scholarship test has always been conducted on 23rd March in girl’s campus Havelian. Objective of the PWSCS is to prepare the students to deal the challenges of the nation, as the name of the school suggests PAK WATTAN, its only means to serve for your country.

PAK WATTAN institute is located at Havelian city, on the Karakoram Highway and on the banks of Dor River, about 15.5 kilometers south west of Abbottabad. Boys wing along with the main campus is situated at Azam khan road and primary section is located at Gohar Market main Havelian city. The city is the last railway station while traveling to the northern areas of Pakistan in KPK province. The city is also home to one of the largest ordinance factories of Pakistan, Pakistan ordinance factory Havelian. An ordinance depot also exists in the vicinity of the city and the factory. There is also a breath taking waterfall, named as Sajikot Waterfall, located in tehsil Havelian, district Abbottabad, KPK province. It is popular tourist destination in Havelian, it is about 27 km from Havelian and 40km from Abbottabad district.

PAK WATTAN is managed by strong strategies including regular meetings to discuss the progress of each level from most juniors to the most seniors and to guide the administration and other faculty members. The organization constitutes a huge administrative including executive director, administrator network; cum principal, vice principal, director academics (both wings), assistant coordinators, senior house masters, clerical staff, nursing staff, medical staff, duty officers, admin officers, account officers, accounts manager, assistant accountants etc.

A qualified faculty selected purely on merit and they all work hard for the mission and vision of their institute.

Staff entrance test has always been conducted in girl’s campus.

CRITERIA

• Test is in written form that will be taken from the relevant education and experience.
• Every candidate must have good communication and interpersonal skills and also have passion for teaching.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
• Shortlisted candidate will be called for interview and for demo.
• PWSCS do maximum investment on its staff, provide them a friendly environment, appropriate facilities and an appreciable salary package.

Annual prize distribution ceremony has always conducted in officer club, POF colony, Havelian. No politician is invited but PWSCS’ management invited well educated, inspiring personalities in an annual prize distribution ceremony.

AWARDS

In an annual prize distribution ceremony Hajj and Umrah tickets, Medals(Gold , Silver, and bronze medal) , Shields given to the students who gave excellent performance in an exams. PWSCS motivate grading system not the positions.

• In 1^st ceremony the chief guests were young scientist Umair Masaud, Major Javed Khattak, gynecology Director Doctor Sadia Habib.
• In 2^nd ceremony the chief guests were PMA Deputy Comandant Khurram Shahzad, SSP Hazara Arif Javed, Principal GGPGC NO 1 ATD professor Mumtaz Haider, HOD doctor Zaffar Jamal and Sardar Niaz.
• In 3^rd ceremony the chief guests were young scientist Umair Masaud, Major Javed Khattak, gynecology Director Doctor Sadia Habib.

The institute offers admission to the applicants by fulfilling the eligibility criteria. The entry is through a test that is based on the course of study, meant for the previous class and interview. However for nursery and prep classes there is just aptitude, intelligence and picture test coupled with an interview to make the child enable from such type of education. Entry tests are organized every year in main campus Havelian. Candidates who are scoring less than 60% in entry test won’t be eligible for admission in school/college.

Admissions will be purely on merit and according to the seats availability. The test is held on 21st February every year. An advertisement regarding this criteria appears in the prominent English/Urdu dailies of Pakistan through which applicants are called for.

Discipline

• Cheating in exams or in any other form will be committing theft.

• Physical violence in school/college area has bad consequences.
• Repetitive/prolonged absence, without leave or bunking from classes or bunking from college premises can make you in trouble.
• Instigating other students or acting as kind of ringleader to violated undermine the college policies/rules/orders whether good order and discipline of the institute is threatened or any group activity which is illegal like, possession/use of drugs/intoxicants and weapons/knives or any other act which is dishonorable and below the expected standards of conduct of pakian then the student have to pay huge amount of it.
